Painting on Silk - Out Islands

This image holds wonderful memories for the Artist. This is its third incarnation! First the photograph, then a silk screen print is made, and now this painting on silk. Hear the wind in the palm fronds. The moment is captured here forever on silk with dye. These special textile dyes  become an integral part of the silk fabric after it is steam set for permanency.
