Painting on Silk - Spring Birch Life Story

In the theme of ripples that was explored in the fall, the image of tree growth circles has caught the Artist's attention. More permanent than ripples, these rings are the entire story of these trees…their banner years and their hardships. Nature’s mandala. Worthy of contemplation.

This wall hanging has been hand-painted on silk using permanent textile dyes that are steam set to insure longevity. Image dimensions 13" x 12".  Overall dimensions 16" x 13.5".
